Don’t forget! This coming Saturday, October 25, the St. Vincent De Paul Society together with the Knights of Columbus are holding their Annual Winter Clothing Drive .
You are invited to drop off clothes between 8am & 4pm in the St. Francis Room located in the church.
Donations of winter type clothes are urgently needed for the Calgary Drop In Centre who care for Calgary’s homeless people free of charge. They are looking for clothes of the following type for both men & women: casual pants, jeans, cords, jogging pants, winter jackets, gloves, scarves, sweaters, plain T shirts, toques, running shoes, winter boots, socks - the warmer the better - long johns and boxer and brief type shorts & BACK-PACKS.
All clothes should be packed in strong garbage bags for ease of handling. Please do not bring them to the parish before Saturday, as we do not have space to store them before then. Thank you.
